MALVERN LIFE REPORT 2011 AND PROSPECTS 2012
Dear friends
We would like to wish you the very best of blessings from our Lord this Christmas and throughout 2012 and thank you for all your input, love and support.
This year in the life of the church will be hard to forget – not least our outreach events! Who could fail to remember the explosive 3-day tent mission in scorching sunshine or the exotic curry club meetings, or the ladies in the library events, or the dreams interpretation weekends in local hostelries?
 There is a great deal to celebrate from 2011.
Our church life has grown and enhanced. We have shed tears over loved ones lost to us but a gain to heaven, and some released to other parts of the present world. But we have received significant fresh resources – some transferred from other parts of the Kingdom of God, and some won from the other kingdom. And there have been so often times typified by laughter as well as astounding prophecies. There have been healings too, some of them received by un-churched friends both in our meetings and in homes and streets. In November, our church weekend lifted us high!
As we stand, our organisational arrangements are in order, our funds are sound, and our eagerness to serve one another and the community is buoyant. Our life groups are truly full of Life, and our giving runs high.
So what of 2012? We face some stiff opportunities! We must seek (and find) our own charity status. This will entail re-structuring and re-presenting the church through publicity, our classy website, outreach, and ecumenical engagement, and in all manner of ways proving ourselves to be good stewards of our resources and chances. Continuing with the Mount Pleasant Hotel as our Sunday base, we want to progress our focus on dynamic Christ centred worship; embark on a new stream of impartation of Holy Spirit gifts, and widen our creative outreach.

We need above all in 2012 to be prayerful, prophetic and prepared. That means personal intimacy with our Lord Jesus and corporate commitment to our vision and activities. May the Lord find us all warm, welcoming and passionate for the Kingdom! Let’s get the nets in place!
Update February 2012: Our aspirations for 2012 are being developed and implemented. Prayer events now take place on Tuesday mornings and Tuesday evenings to good effect. Our focus on worship on Sunday mornings continues. We are finding that during worship there is a flow of prophecy, and other gifts which are greatly edifying. Prophecy continues, and some of the key examples can be found on this website. We have already this year seen a stream of wonderful visitors to our services and a salvation, for which we give thanks to God. Outreach events immiment are our 'Convict to Convert' curry night; a mission to Grace Church Brincoveanca, Romania, preceded by a 5 peak fundraising walk on the Malverns on 24th March; and an English as a second language course led by Tim Silk, all of which are open to all. We continue to ask God for His presence amongst us.
