Casting the net abroad
Dear friends
Today at UCB Broadcasting House, I learned that UCB now have a number of radio channels operating in
this country, some of them with national coverage; that there is a UCB Christian TV channel operating throughout the nation; and that there are UCB TV stations in New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia, as well as UK. In addition, there are G3 transmissions (to mobile phones if I am not wrong – someone please advise us) across vast areas of the earth, including otherwise hard to penetrate countries like China. The implications are massive. Think about it!
Expect a miracle!
Our guest speaker for the event was Jarrod Cooper from Kingston upon Hull who encouraged us to expect a miracle every day and to realise that if God can speak through Balaam’s donkey, he can definitely use you (and me). Jarrod then prayed for a number of people in the TV studio who were experiencing pain at that moment. I have seen miracles before – too many to count – but I have not seen such swift results or such simple, humble, unaffected miracle working before. Every person receiving prayer affirmed rapid release from pain. The prayer and healing was so quick, in some cases it seemed like flicking a switch. Some of the miracles were almost literally within arms reach from where I was sitting. Jarrod states that there is coming to us in this country (and beyond) the biggest revival ever. Stay braced!
Waking up to Jabez!
But sometimes it the small things in life that are so personally special. I read in the scripture this morning before leaving home, the prayer of Jabez, a man whose mother named him ‘one who will cause pain’ – a most unfortunate start in life to say the least. But his prayer was: O that you would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, and keep me from evil, that I might not cause pain. You probably are already aware that God answered that prayer. What interested me was that the first poster I noticed at UCB on arrival this morning was – you guessed – the prayer of Jabez. Well, are we justified in expecting God to enlarge our territory here in Malvern or am I kidding myself?
And which of you stands with us today in the purposes of God?
Lots of love and here’s to the next miracle!
Jeff
